Charlotte Moss - A Flair for Living
About The Townhouse: The First Floor
Walking through the front door of the Charlotte Moss Townhouse, one is immediately aware that they have entered a home. With walls painted like blocks of limestone, the Entry Vestibule showcases the ever changing vignettes of The Townhouse.
Descending the elegant stairs into the Entry Foyer, a modern gas fireplace is housed within a faux-limestone mantelpiece reminiscent of the entry hall at Chateau de Groussay. The Entry Hall is appointed with an exceptional array of antique furniture.
The East Corridor and Boutique house gift items, from hostess presents to men's accessories, all enclosed within cabinets fashioned from antique French windows.
The Wrapping Counter is surrounded by hand painted verre églomisé featuring our distinctive pagoda, silhouetted in gold leaf. A leather-covered desktop offers customers a welcoming place to have a cup of coffee while awaiting their gift wrapped parcels.
Filled with items essential for gardening and flower arranging, the Conservatory leads seamlessly into the treillaged Garden filled with antique one-of-a-kind ornaments and reproduction outdoor furniture.
